Don Powers Agency, Inc. was incorporated in 1964 by Donald S. Powers. It was Powers’ goal to be the premier insurance agency to serve the local business community. Today, this goal continues to be the focus of the agency. Along with serving the business community, the agency exists to serve the people of the community. Don Powers Agency has been held in highest regard by the companies it represents.

This has been exhibited through its many awards and accomplishments, including being the

 top producing agency in the State of Indiana for a national insurance company.

Donald S. Powers currently serves as President Emeritus of the company. He is a local

visionary, and his efforts have led to a wealth of development around Northwest

Indiana.  His dedication to the community can be seen through developments in

healthcare, the arts, and education. The Don Powers Agency continues to be

one of the premier agencies in Northwest Indiana.

We are devoted not only to the people that we represent, but also to the

community as a whole through active participation in various projects

and charities that lead to growth and progress in Northwest Indiana.
